Course Overview

Team Leaders and Line Managers can be reluctant to talk to their teams about wellbeing and mental health difficulties in case they open a ‘can of worms’ and don’t know how to respond if someone says they’re struggling.  Does that resonate with you?  Would you like to help people but worry that you might not know the right thing to say or do in the moment?

If you don’t offer support to your team when they’re struggling, they might dis-engage from their work and perform less well.  With the right support from you, people are more likely to stay in work, perform effectively in their roles and engage well as they feel looked after.  Win-win.

This online, half-day course will help Team Leaders and Line Managers to introduce wellbeing and mental health conversations into their teams, feel confident to deal with individual difficulties and signpost people to support.
