Course Overview
Businesses / organisations are learning the importance of having employees who are capable of handling a range of difficult and challenging situations. We all work in a busy environment and spending time trying to work out what to say, and what not to say to certain individuals, can be time consuming. Knowing techniques that work, when dealing with difficult or challenging situations, can enable us to become more confident and competent, reduce stress and help us enjoy our job and responsibilities.
This one-day programme is not a deep psychological journey!
It simply encourages you to take a step back – away from your workplace – to reflect on situations you may have been in, or are likely to be in, and establish a strategy to deal with them.
One thing we must not forget is:
We need to manage our side of a difficult transaction to achieve a positive outcome.
This course suits: Those who work in organisations where there is constant interaction and need for collaboration with a range of individuals or teams in order to get things done. It would suit those who may have experienced some reluctance to address concerns or put their point of view across and those who feel that some guidance and tips on how to handle the inevitable workplace challenges would be beneficial to their well being and enjoyment.
The 1 day course is interactive and crammed full of helpful tips and guidance to help delegates feel more comfortable and confident in handling challenging behaviour.
