Course Overview
In any organisation, managing people is a crucial role and can make the difference between a high performing team that has satisfied, motivated members; and a team that struggles to reach targets and build any kind of team spirit. Unfortunately, team leaders, supervisors and managers are often promoted into their position without any relevant training because they are good at a non-management operational role. However, performing as a team member where you are only responsible for your own performance is very different to being responsible for both your own, and other people’s, performance – and certain core management skills are vital for success in your role.
This workshop addresses some of those vital skills and is packed with relevant, easy-to-use tools, tips and techniques to help you improve your managerial or supervisory performance, manage others better, increase your overall effectiveness and make those steps from high performing operative to high performing manager.
